Hello! My name is Mika, and I am an artist, poet, and aspiring fashion designer exploring the space where beauty and melancholy coexist. I am often inspired by the darkness that people fear to explore.
My creative practice draws from gothic aesthetics, philosophy, esotericism, literature, and media that I adore, which shape a visual language exploring memory and the beauty found in melancholy. I see fashion as another form of storytelling through which I explore myself, including my culture.

Dreamwave pajamas
Founded with a vision to merge eco-conscious design with luxury comfort, Dreamwave redefines sleepwear through material innovation. Each piece is crafted from Filagen®—a sustainable, collagen-infused fiber extracted from recycled fish scales—blended seamlessly with smooth satin.

Anthropomorphic Character Design & Commissions
My commission work focuses on designing original anthropomorphic animal characters with distinctive silhouettes, proportions, and visual identities. I explore character styling through clothing, accessories, textures, and intricate details, often incorporating cute and gothic-inspired aesthetics.
Working on commissions has taught me to translate ideas into visual concepts, consider different design possibilities, and balance my own artistic vision with a client’s brief. This process has strengthened my interest in character styling, fashion illustration, and the relationship between clothing and personal identity.
Basic Sewing & Avant-Garde Fashion Project
Learned basic sewing, pattern drafting, and garment construction techniques.
Designed and crafted a unique Thai Traditional x Avant-Garde concept outfit.

2026 IAMA Youth Art Contest Second Round Finalist: Earned selection as a finalist for the second round of judging and exhibition consideration in this prestigious international youth art competition.
Phithan green competition
Achieved 1st Winner out of public contestants in the 2026 T-Shirt Design Contest held by Phithan Green, a prominent green energy and EV infrastructure provider in Thailand.
ISTA trip
Global Theatre Festival – ISTA (Nov 2024): Engaged in an international theatre workshop and collaborative learning experience at the Beijing MS Festival, strengthening creative expression, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication.
Internship
Chayanna x Mika | 3 months
Internship: Chayanna x Mika | 3 months
Conceived and designed Mutelu, an 8-look Modern Luxury silk collection reinterpreting Thai beliefs for a new generation, during a three-month internship with Chayanna, a Thai silk brand working with handwoven Chonnabot silk from Khon Kaen. Initiated the concept and developed the collection together with Chayanna's designer, in a role comparable to Junior Art Director. Researched the target audience, learned garment production and marketing, and art-directed the collection's fashion editorial shoot. Translated the emotions and meanings behind belief, rather than religious imagery, into the garments' lines, silhouettes and construction details, creating mix-and-match pieces for everyday wear. The collection debuted at Siam International Fashion Week Visit Khon Kaen (Sept 25–26, 2026).

Feature interview: from a theatre kid to a new designer reviving Thai silk through ‘Mutelu’ fashion.
Designed and led an interactive programme on overcoming procrastination at two Bangkok schools: Rajanandacharn Samsenvidhayalai 2 School (July 2025) and Matthayom Wat Dusitaram School (December 2025), with 25–40 students per school. Developed and facilitated workshops, games, reflection exercises, and teamwork activities that taught students to recognise the impact of procrastination and apply practical habit-building techniques, with support from two team members. Both schools issued official thank-you letters confirming that the activities achieved their objectives.
